Truly, madly, deeply in love with glass dome cloches right now.

cloche (klohsh) n
1. A close-fitting woman's hat with a bell-like shape.
2. A usually bell-shaped cover, used chiefly to protect plants from frost.
From Old French: bell

They are absolutely divine and can be used in a variety of decorative ways. To me, glass dome cloches offer a gracefully refined look. A way that brings all of your lovely details together to give it a more polished appearance, or if you may, becomes the "cherry on top of your sundae".

Yes, a glass cloche is traditionally used to cover garden plants from frost, but we as creatives relish in the fact that objects can be used in many ways. Just like an apothecary jar or cake stand, a cloche is very versatile. Use them to display desserts, cheese, memorabilia, tiny trinkets, flowers, clocks, statement props, jewelry, terrariums, books, stack of cups, shells... the list is endless :)
